What we do

The Fire Department is a combination organization contracted to provide Fire and EMS services to the citizens. Our first response area is approximately 7 square miles with a population of approximately 9,000 with an ISO rating of a class 5. We respond approximately 800 times a year to provide emergency medical services, fire suppression, investigations, rescues, hazardous materials emergencies, and public assistance. Some of our daily activities include fire prevention, fire safety, blood pressure checks, pre-planning, and CPR. Under the direction of a Board of Directors and Chief, the mission of the Fire Department is to provide the highest quality of fire, rescue, and EMS services to the residents and visitors. The fire station is located at 13055 Oakwood Ave NW Uniontown, Ohio 44685. The station is staffed 24 hours a day. Working out of one station, we operate 1 Engine, 1 Rescue/Engine, 1 Tanker/Engine, 3 ALS Ambulances, 1 ALS Chase Vehicle, and 1 Supervisor/Command Vehicle.
